INTRODUCTION

Introduced at the National Portable Storage Association Convention in Las Vegas, Nevada, this insurance product is the only one of its kind developed exclusively for Lessors of semi trailers, modular units, and containers. By allowing Allen Insurance Group to make this coverage available to your Lessee(s), you will no longer be bothered with the hassle of tracking certificates, dealing with cancellations, and worrying that the Lessee has purchased the correct limits of insurance coverage. Allen Insurance Group can offer your customers the opportunity to purchase insurance protection through a general liability policy for much less than the cost of a traditional "stand alone" policy. Coverage begins as soon as the unit is assembled and ready for occupancy. Though the insurance is written in the state where the corporate leasing office is located, it covers units wherever they may be located in the U.S., its territories, and Canada.

Adding the Insurance Option to your Lease
The following information is to assist you in adding the option to purchase insurance to your existing lease agreement. This can be accomplished by changing your lease or by adding an addendum (attached below). Either way, the option must be signed or initialed by your customer signifying their acceptance of the insurance product.
